Specialization A: Artificial Intelligence Applications (FST)
- GPA 2.8 (75 out of 100) or above in the Bachelor degree studies;
- Bachelor degree related to engineering or mathematics is preferred, but not necessary;
- English proficiency should be in line with that stipulated in the UM Admission Guidelines Governing Master Degree and Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma Programmes.
Specialization B: Marketing Analytics (FBA)
- Applicants must have achieved the equivalent* of an overall result of Grade C+ or above in the Bachelor’s degree studies. (*The equivalent means 2.3 on the 4.0 GPA scale, 14 on the 20-point scale or 70 out of 100.);
- Applicants with 2 years or above full-time work experience will be given priority;
- English proficiency should be in line with that stipulated in the UM Admission Guidelines Governing Master Degree and Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma Programmes;
- Admission Interview Performance (if any).
Specialization C: Financial Technology (FBA)
- Applicants must have achieved the equivalent* of GPA 2.8 or above in the Bachelor’s degree studies. (*The equivalent means 75-77 out of 100.)
- English proficiency should be in line with that stipulated in the UM Admission Guidelines Governing Master Degree and Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma Programmes.
- Admission Interview Performance (if any).
Specialization D: Data Strategy and Compliance (FLL)
- Applicants must possess a Bachelor degree satisfying the Admission Requirements for Master’s Degree Programmes under the relevant guidelines and regulations of the University of Macau.
- Applicants are subject to the English proficiency requirements as stipulated in the UM Admission Guidelines Governing Master’s Degree and Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma Programmes.
- Applicants who graduated from Mainland China should hold a Bachelor degree issued by any University recognized by the Ministry of Education.
- Admission by merit and the graduates of Categories 211 and 985 universities will be given priority.
- In compliance with the Admission Rules Governing Master’s Degree and Postgraduate Certificate / Diploma Programmes and General Rules Governing Master Degree and Postgraduate Certificate / Diploma Programmes.
Specialization E: Precision Medicine (FHS)
- Applicants should have achieved the equivalent* of GPA 2.8 or above in the Bachelor’s degree studies. (*The equivalent means 75-77 out of 100.)
- Bachelor’s degree related to biomedical sciences, medical sciences, health sciences, biomedical engineering, biological sciences, bioinformatics, biostatistics, statistics or computer science is preferred.
- Applicants are subject to the English proficiency requirements as stipulated in the UM Admission Guidelines Governing Master’s Degree and Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma Programmes.
- In compliance with the Admission Rules Governing Master’s Degree and Postgraduate Certificate / Diploma Programmes and General Rules Governing Master Degree and Postgraduate Certificate / Diploma Programmes.
Specialization F: Computational Linguistics (FAH)
- Graduates in Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Mathematics
- English proficiency should be in line with that stipulated in the UM Admission Guidelines Governing Master’s Degree and Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma Programmes.
Specialization G: Analytics in Teaching and Learning (FED)
- Applicants must hold a recognised bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- GPA 2.8 (75 out of 100) or above in the Bachelor’s degree studies.
- Preference is given to those who majored in education and possess a quantitative background (statistics, STEM, etc). Students with prior research experience, including research publication, assistantship, scholarship and grants, will be evaluated favorably.
- English proficiency should be in line with that stipulated in the UM Admission Guidelines Governing Master’s Degree and Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma Programmes.
Specialization H: Smart Governance (FSS)
- Applicants must possess a Bachelor degree satisfying the Admission Requirements for Master’s Degree Programmes under the relevant guidelines and regulations of the University of Macau.
- English proficiency should be in line with that stipulated in the UM Admission Guidelines Governing Master’s Degree and Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma Programmes.
